"This is what we do. Take the plant outside and hose it down really good.
Soak the soil really well also. Let is sit outside for 24 hours. That's it.
Sometimes people get a little over-paranoid (especially online). I wouldn't
worry about the covering the soil as he won't eat on it if you are providing
a proper diet. Dusting your crickets with Miner-All calcium daily (once
every two or three days when they are older than 6 months) and herptivite
once a week will provide them with the additional vitamins and minerals they
need. Also I will show how we care for the crickets so that you are
providing a nutrious diet to your chameleon."
