Just thought I would show you all how much George has progreesed in the short time he has been with us. As most of you know, we had a lot of problems with his feeding and stuff but this is how much he has changed. As a new cham owner, I actually feel quite proud of myself because many pet shops and various people on other forums said that I wans't experienced enough to care for a cham - maybe this will prove them wrong

This is George the day after he srrived looking a little worse for wear!


And this is George now, looking tonnes better and his colours are really coming out more each day. I think he is stunning!

Thanks for your comments. In reply to Luvmyiguanas, he is not very friendly! He has finally started to handfeed and will stand on my hand as long as there is food on offer but no food means you get gaped at, hissed at and kunged at a couple of times. He is not half a shy as he was though and happily comes and sits at the front of his viv next to you. I am just pleased that I have made a difference to his quality of life. the people who had him before did treat his as best they knew how - I couldn't say they mistreated him because to the best of their knowledge they didn't. I think he just needed someone to take more time to learn about his specific needs and implement them - I have changed his viv, his environment, his diet, his humidity care levels and he seems to be very happy
