Clyde passed away
This morning when we got up Clyde was sick. He was fine last night. It took a couple of hours before we could get a Herp Vet to agree to see him. He died during the exam. He was very dark with a motled green head and little movement, by the time we had a place to take him he had labored breathing and looked worse. While at the vets (the vet had car trouble) he continued to get worse. The vet believes that he caught something that killed him. I questioned him about my care and was told that I had done everything right so at least that is something. We did the best we could by the little guy, I just wish we had more time together.

So sorry for your loss. He had a wonderful home while he was with you, don't second guess yourself on that.

I was so shocked and saddened by your post .. I'm so sorry for your loss. This is a tragic time for you and your family, and I'm sure it would make it easier on you to know the exact cause of death. However, don't for a second think that you did anything that could have caused this - I'm sure Clyde's time with you was happy and you did your best for him. Have fond memories of him, I'm so sorry.
