Chameleon and Iguana Same Cage? Good or Bad?

    Hi All
I have built a new cage for my iguanas.
    its about 3m x 3m x 3m high.
    I have three large iguana's.

Would it be a good or bad idea to add my veiled chameleon to the cage?

Just a thought, let me know what you think.
If you want it badly enough and you are willing to work at it anything is possible, "I want it all"

No. That would probably result in the death of the chameleon. It is really not good to keep any reptiles caged together, Especially iguanas. They are VERY territorial and NEED their own space. They are known to go as far as to kill other animals in their territory, especially in breeding season. And especially other igs. Not to eat them or anything, simply to protect their territory.

Yes I agree that would be a terrible idea.
Just because you have an animal that isnt dead doesnt mean you know how to take care of it

The chameleon would be dead in very short order. Don't risk it.

3 iguanas and a chameleon in a 265 gallon tank .. Uhm .. I'd prefer you not put the poor chameleon in there ..

actually, your math is wrong, that's more like 19,000 gallons. But still, a bad idea. Its meters, not feet.

    3 meters = 9.8 feet

    Keep the chameleon seperate.

On the other note how big\old are your iguanas? You might want to start a thread in the iguana section on keeping three in the same enclosure. You want\need to know, Right?
