What a pretty little guy. I would think he would be sleeping the tree but I guess you can never expect anything from a herp. Does the F. benjamina work well for chams? I always heard hibiscus was the best way to go.

Either will work but the light requirements of Hibiscus are so high that they really aren't going to do as well as the ficus. Ficus will put up with low light and take a lot more abuse than the hibiscus.

The Ficus benjamina seems to be doing ok, it just lost a lot of its leaves where there is no light shining directly, and grew loads of leaves where the UV is, the locust keep chomping on it too so I have to keep trimming it, it has also started to lean towards the UV so I have started rotating it, hopefully it will be a nice big bushy ficus again instead of half bushy

I was wondering what happened to those leaves Those dang locusts... And good point about Hibiscus vs Ficus, Hibiscus are almost always in full sun down here. I like the Ficus alot more too.

Champ is the same, he will usually find the thinest of branches and sleep there all night, I always worry one day he going to fall off.
