Unkown Chameleon-Need I.D.
Does anyone know what species this is or if they are sold on the market?
I found this pic on the net. It was titled simply "Chameleon" http://www.herpcenter.com/gallery/fi...-Dino-Cham.jpg I believe the ability to add pics from your gallery is temporarily disabled.

That is not a chameleon. Its called a thorny devil (Molloch Horridus) and it is from Australia. If I recall their specialized diet makes them almost impossible to keep outside Austrailia.

Yes they are pretty cool! And have some interesting habits! But they only eat certain types of ants and one devil can eat 5000 a DAY!

Ohhh,, I have watched those on the discovery channel,, they are awesome!
Unfortunately the thought of keeping a million ants to feed them isnt working out for me, lol.
