Yea,and maybe something about those of us that breed or will be breeding in the future.I know that I would feel better if I knew where my babies were and who had them.

Hello,

The herp friendly vets list is already being created. There is going to be an entirely seperate forum called the breeding center that will accompany this forum. For obvious reason, that will take me a bit to write up. That will be for all of you that breed and need a place to sell them. It will also contain a links directory for those of you that have sites already!

I don't think I understand your suggestion WDBILL. Could you clarify that for me. A store lising that sells herp supplies?

Actually there is already a site dedicated to exactly that. Its
www.herpvetconnection.com

The vets on this site are there from referals by their patients. That is the only way to get your name listed. They can't just have their name put on. Its listed by state.

There is also the ARAV (association of reptile and amphibian vets)site which list vets that specialize in herp medicine.

Vets?

How about posting vets that we've had good experiences with? Good herp vets are very hard to find, and I think this might make it a little easier to find the right ones. I know many of us are in different locations and/or states, but for those of us who are close to one another as well as those who may join the site from our areas could benefit. Perhaps a listing even- for example:

Philadelphia, PA
Vet X
"Great with water dragons and anoles"
Memeber X

Just an idea.

Caledonian Gargoyle Gecko: Unnamed
Malaysian Golden Gecko: Unnamed
Mediterranean Gecko: Unnamed
Frog-eyed Gecko: Unnamed
Green Basilisk: Unnamed

Yeah, yeah... They'll get names eventually...

Speaking of vets...I need one in North Alabama, in the Huntsville area. We can't find one to save our lives. Any suggestions. We use the one that is at the store now, because no one else seems to have herp sense. But I really don't like her. Anyone know any good vets????
