glossary of terms

there are terms that some of us are not familiar with (like me). is something like that possible? even simple things, i mean, i see Whites Tree Frog the first thing I think of is NOT whites tree frog. hey I work in a factory. or like eggcrate, that was new to me. whaddya think?

I know, every time I see Whites Tree Frog I don't think Whites Tree Frog, I think of the OTHER term. Yes you know what I'm taking about!

I"m still new to the eggcrate and am not sure what exactly that is....

Liz eggcrate is plastic, fits in front of flourescent lights. If you can imagine a screen with mesh openings 1/2 inch square and then make the whole sheet 1/3 inch thick. Thats eggcrate.

We have a page where we identify and decipher common abbreviations that are used in herp speak but it does seems to be inoperative right now.
It may be due to something Rich is working on while upgrading the site.

Also called eggcrate:


it works well for bedrolls while camping, as long as it doesn't get wet.


Whites Tree Frog doesn't bring frogs to mind here either, I always just heard them called 'whites'
