I currently have my Jungle Carpet Python in a 40gal wide. He is a little over 4'. I was looking at getting a 48"L x 18"D x 49"T 180gal tall acrylic/granite sliding front opening tank from glasscages.com. All I was wondering is if this would be big enough for him to live in for the rest of his life?

And also does anyone have any pics of a full grown Jungle carpet so I might be able to get an idea of how big he will be. I know they can get upwards of around 10' but would just like to see one to do a size comparison with mine.

I would say a 75 gallon minimum, they can get anywhere from 5-7 feet. A 40 would really not be enough room.

I think you miss understood me... I was saying he is in a 40gal now. The tank I was looking at getting is a 180gal tall tank.
