I'm training to be a chef...and uh...I guess I'll be doing that the rest of my life...training. It's part of the gig. I love my job, always something new, everyday is different, I've never had 15 hours go by so fast as when I'm putting food together on a double after 3 days of doubles, and the pay is good and perks even better. I want to be the best, so it's been eating up a lot of time and resources and it's only going to get worst...I can't wait. I'll be really starting my career when I graduate college soon and I get shipped off to some dungeon and disappear from society for a few years and I'll come out cut, burnt, shabby, pale, and mean...but I'll know how to cook.

I am putting together my resume for being a dinosaur though...

Well I haven't decided what I want to do as a career yet, but for the time being I am an EMT-Intermediate (Medic) for a private Ambulance Company called Lifestar Response. We do mostly inter-facility transports. This can mean anything from going from hospital to hospital, or nursing home to hospital, or a million different combinations... Lifestar provides basic and advanced life support as well as critical care transports. We work closely with Johns Hopkins and many of the cardiac specialty hospitals in the area. It is a fun and sometimes rewarding job.

Zane, wait long enough and you WILL be a dinosaur! Just ask your children some day in the distant future. LOL

I'm the assistant to the Dean of the College of Education at one of the California State University campuses. I do graphic design and page layout projects in my spare time. I recently got Adobe CS 2 Premium with my University discount... less than $200 for the suite!!! SWEET!!!

By the way, Typh... I LOVE your punctuation signature!!

Don't forget, CS3 is almost out. I'm really curious as to the improvements.

Thanks, by the way.

I guess that I will jump in here as well. I am a distribution/production supervisor/manager for a laundry. I process laundry for a living and have been doing it for 22 years. I worked with one company for 21 years and now I have started fresh with a new company doing the same thing for more money. Dirty clothes is job security! LMAO.

I'm trying to get my office to let me buy CS3 through them. Since we are a not-for-profit, they get the whole shebang at $400.

well me.... back home in south africa I am a sound engineer (live sound, studio work and musician). Also involved in alot of herp studies etc.

My goal is to film documentries(mostly herps of course...post and on location work)....or anything to do with herpetology. Don't know if I would want to be the dude infront of the camera but who knows!

Maybe I might build enough prac experience with research trips and writing papers to get some kind of career in herpetology. But yeah my ultimate is to be in the wild jungles somewhere filming, photographing and finding herps. Gonna live the dream....be wild, dirty and lost somewhere with a camera and a toothbrush.

Gonna be filming a herpetological trip in central america next month so watch out for that. I am also planning a 6 month expedition of the amazon river and making a doc on that.... gonna be wild. I am just gonna go for it....whats stopping me? haha well enough of that...what else do you peoples do?
