if you decide to make your own, I know you can do vines by taking rope, for thicker stuff braid multiple pieces together, then cover it with Great stuff and then paint or epoxy over.

Hm thanks for the tip. Right now I have a Pothos plant in the enclosure that I hope will take off soon

That one good reason to live 1/2 a mile from one of the Great Lakes is the free driftwood. When I need a new piece, I just have my husband look out for a good piece while he is running. He moves it so we can come back and pick it up with the car.

I do the same thing Colleen. But I live about an hour away. I also don't bother baking or bleaching. Never done it for nearly 20 yrs and never had an issue. Some smaller species of reptiles might be more prone to new insects being introduced into their environment however. I purposely put oak leaves into my monitor enclosures because I want the bugs that are on them.
