Ummm weanling rats aren't hopper-sized just for reference. I have a couple kicking around here that are a bit larger than an adult mouse. I do agree that 2 ever two weeks isn't enough for a 6' snake though.

You can always feed the hoppers off to the baby red tail boa or another snake too

Rat size categories

I'm not clear on what the size names are. I'm going by this website: Scroll down to Rats! Rats! Rats! http://www.redtailboas.com/frozen_th...en_thawed.html

The rats I was feeding fall between the weanling and small pictured on this website.
The person that sold them to me called them "hoppers", so that's why I used that name. Whatever they're called, the ones I bought were smaller than a dollar bill and I think that's too small to make a decent meal for my girl.

I know this post is under the Burmese Python category, so I don't want to confuse anyone: my snake is a Brazilian Rainbow Boa: but she is 6 feet long and appreciates a good meal like any other snake!

How's it going with Dubious?

Just curious how things are going with Dubious, Ssativa. Did you try feeding her more?
