Alright I Need Some Help!!!
My burmese python has mites I have treated him with reptile releif but seems not to take a great affect so could someone please help me with it. i have heard soaking them in diluted betadine might work but I need some bigger help before I try that.

rich is right and the reptile relief should work if used properly, i used it when all 3 of my snakes got mites and they were irradicated in maybe a week (2 applications of RR just to be safe)

Sorry to hear that you've found mites on your snake!
Treating the snake with Reptile Relief is NOT enough to get rid of the mites completely; you need to treat the snake's enclosure as well as the room the snake is in and any other reptiles in the same room (maybe the same house!) and their enclosures. I spent A LOT of time researching and writing the article that Rich posted the link to, and although it is daunting, in my experience with getting rid of snake mites, it is the most effective (lasting) method and least stressful for the snake. Please take some time to read it. If you don't understand the life-cycle of the mites, you will probably be frustrated with how they seem to come back over and over again just when you thought they were gone!
