Re: Princess Bell lives up to her name
I know it can be a pain sometimes when they go off feed for the breeding season but kudos to you for making the effort to stick with it, you said she is about 10', it would be alot easier and safer for both you and the snake if you stuck with feeding her in the cage that way you know she is secure in her cage and you dont have to worry about handling her after she eats or trying to keep the temps up in a seperate bin if you deside to leave her in overnight to snap out of the feed mode. i also agree with getting her set up with her food and secure then turning off the lights and letting her chow down. while I don't have a problem with my big burm not eating when I am in the room, some of my ball pythons are very picky eaters and I have to turn off the lights. just hang in there it should only be for a couple months, the rest of the year she should be eating like a champ. good luck
