ID help please

This Boa came in to rescue and he's so different from the others we've had that I've been trying to ID him. He has a pinkish belly and from all that I've seen and read, the Honduran seems to match this. Can anyone help?
The pink doesn't show very good in the pics and the top of his head has a pinkish hue as well.

With Boas it is so hard to distinguish, scientifically there are only 2 species, boa constrictor constrictor and boa constrictor imperator. the problem stems from the fact that there are numerous "morphs" related mostly to geography. The general rule being the lighter boas from northern area and darker from the south. Then take into consideration that boas are now more commonly bred by hobbyists and these locales are so often inter-mixed by the breeder. In other words,,,you may never know what you have.

Your boas coloration and patterning seem to be consistant with boas from Central America. That's where I would put my money. Art

I would gess Central America but unless you colocated it your self cant be 100% anymore with all the inbreeding that happens with all of the boa's now .Just think the salmons and hypos are Colombian x Central so who really knows now days .He is a looker tho

Ken there is also the:
B.c.o (Boa constrictor occidentalis) which is the Argentine Boa
B.c.l (Boa constrictor longicauda)
B.c.a (Boa constrictor amarali)
another B.c.o (Boa constrictor ortonii)
B.c.s (Boa constrictor saboge)
B.c.n (Boa constrictor nebulosa)
yet another b.c.o (Boa constrictor orophias)
and B.c.m (Boa constrictor melanogaster)

all of these are there own valid subspiecies of b.c......how much scientific difference there is I don't know.

I would say what you have there s a common boa (boa constrictor imperator) and a very pretty one too

Thanks everyone for you replies. I hate getting rescues in with no history.
