This is Rose my young female Dumeril's boa. She'll be two this year and I'll have had her a year as of Valentine's Day. Despite the fact that I love her dearly she DRIVES ME CRAZY with her FUSSY feeding habits. Arg! I love Dumeril's because of thier gorgeous patterns, exceedingly smooth skin, and wierd movable eyes

Don't you just love them? She's got a ton of coppery pink on her I'd have gotten closer but she was being kind of unfreindly (she's in my shirt now). The individual patterns are kind of like shamrocks or flowers like you'd see on a Hawain shirt, which is kind of why I named her Rose. Anyway if you think about it the patterns on them are really cool because they look like sun dappling on leaf litter, which makes a lot of sense for an ambush predator.
