It's amazing how thick these snakes get. I think I have finally found a name for him,

well, not necessarily. He is not really docile. The only time I handle him is when I transport him once a week from his enclosure to a feeding tub and back again. I pick him up about two inches behind his head with one hand while I handle the heaviest part with my other. The whole thing happens within seconds.

Having said this, I have been bitten more times than I can count.
but hey, It's no worse than having four short needles or fish hooks poked into your finger at one time
