maybe he was dehydrated,from the sounds of it. Also you have to remember when you get a reptile that is too cold they will have have such great personalities, lol,,,,,, But as soon as you warm them up to proper temps and get them healthy again,, you have the spawn of jack the ripper, lol.
My Wing is the same way,, he is meaner than snot! Also blood pythons are not known for their fabulous personalities either

it is a phrase that is used up here a lot,,,, but I guess if I had to put a name to it SHE would be the infamous Cleopatra, another of the red tails I have here,,, she is nasty mean.Wing and Amadeus are also nasty mean.
Why are they mean?,,,, I run a rescue,, they dont come in here with the greatest of personalities,, especially after I give them proper temps and such and they become healthy. Another thing to remember is that they associate me with shots and painful things like that,, so they will strike at me and bite me,, but someone else comes in and they just LOOVE them,,,, ungrateful creatures,lol
