Okay, the results are back from the dealership I took my car to to get a second opinion. I think I need a second opinion on my second opinion.

They say the Injector Seals have gone bad - $462, and they're hearing a "clunking" in the Intermediate Steering Shaft - $302. And, of course, their diagnostic fee. $80. Grand total comes to $844.

To fix a problem that they supposedly already fixed a year ago. That I paid $250 to fix the MAP sensor on a year ago,...

Over the last year (once a few months ago, and twice within the last month) I've spent over $600 at the dealership and an outside mechanic to fix a very specific and dangerous problem in my car. (When I slow down, the engine just shuts off.)

After all that I find out that the mechanic has thought all along that it might be a transmission problem, which will cost me another $1500.00.

Since there really is no way I'll be able to afford that and still, you know, eat,...

Apparantly I don't. I get sick more often than anyone I know. It really sucks.

Yesterday, halfway through the day, I got this SEVERE sharp pain on the right side of my stomach, that was crippling. Hurt to move. After spending most of the day and night laying on the couch, that stupid pain went down to a dull throb. I'm at work now, just waiting for the day to end to make the pain go away.

Oh, but it gets better. NOW I have a sore throat. Hurts to swallow and...

I work about 40 minutes away from my house. Yesterday was lovely outside where I work. It was cool and breezy, but not freezing cold. It was the type of day I really did just want to go out and stay out.
