I even put the extra exclamation point on for emphasis. (Multiple exclamation points are a true crime in my book, except in very extreme cases.)
On Saturday - pending they don't make me work at the last minute - I will go and pick up my new green tree python!
I'm SUPER excited. I've been researching them literally for years, waiting for a situation where I could go and get one.
And it's finally the right time and place.
I'm actually getting an adult male from someone who is selling his locally - which is going to save me quite a bit of money on the price of the snake itself. I've got everything set up and waiting. Although sometime in the next couple of weeks I need to get a snake hook and feeding tongs. For now, I actually have something that I can feed him with, and I won't be handling him for at least three weeks, so I should have time to get those last two things on my list.
Happy, happy, happy. I can't wait. I only hope I don't have to work, because I have to go pick him up (2 hrs away) in the morning, then be back by six for a friend's wedding. It's going to be a busy day.
