So grandma finally had her back surgery yesterday. Good news! It was a success. There was a massive calcium build up pushing on her spinal cord, AND the cyst she had, which was also pushing on her spinal cord was 10 times the size they thought. Think of an iceburg, where you can only see the tip and its HUGE under water. That's how the cyst was. They got it all, but it was difficult, since it impeded so much.

The only bad thing is she lost a lot of blood so she needed a blood transfusion....

It always seems, just when I say to myself "hey, my life is good. I'm in a good mood. I'm happy. Things are going right."

Take that, can't be too happy, now can we?

It's always a give and take isn't it? Can't get too happy, cause if you do, something will come and smack you down.

Friday:
went out and saw a local band with all my guy friends. I was too drunk to drive home and needed to sober up. They took me to a STRIP CLUB. Don't need to do THAT again. Although I was amazed by this one stripper who was able to flip herself all the way UP the pole, a good 30 - 40 feet.

Saturday:
Saved a box turtle from the middle of the road.
Went hiking (walking) in the woods with a friend. Caught a few frogs, saw a bazillion tadpoles, and a few snakes....

First Comcast took away my Game show network...

Now they take away G4?? How the heck am I supposed to watch Ninja Warrior? Its like they are doing it on purpose, so you are forced to get digital and pay $30 more.... GRRRR.

Next thing you know, they'll take away the weather channel!

Oh yeah! Who is going to Florida? that would be ME ME ME.

The hubby and I got 2 tickets to my inlaw's condo in Sarasota, not more than 50 feet from the beach. We leave the night of April 3 and return the night of April 7.

Man do I NEED THIS.
