I think this is key to me owning a snake. And strangely the larger the snake the less he is afraid of it. This was a very docile milk snake. his first snake was a baby ball python, so it was pretty small and reminded him of the snake that scared him as a child.

I guess if I keep getting him to places with snakes and he keeps holding them, maybe he will get over his fear enough for me to get a corn some day.

So here is an update:

I have been very busy in the garden.
If i'm not in the garden i'm a slug on the couch, because the garden ruined my back.
I'm going for a cortizone shot tomorrow. Hopefully my issues will be solved
Work is crazy, I have just enough time to be on the board and then I forget to blog.
The frogs are good, so are the kitties.
I'll post photos of the garden soon. It won't really be "done" until the spring, because we are...

Well, its been 2 weeks now since I started PT, and I must say I have done a turn around. 2 weeks ago I was on 5 codines a day. I could barely walk. I couldn't get in or out of a car without screaming. Driving was pure torture.

Yesterday I was approved to go on 5 minute jogs. I'm on no pain pills at all. I have minor pain, mostly in the morning. My muscles have gone from cramped to loose, and my core is getting stronger thanks to many exercises (that I would have never known about)....

I have now had 3 sessions of physical therapy. I am OFF the pain killers. I'm still feeling pain, but its manageable. I was in MORE pain on the pain meds without PT, and I was taking up to 5 pills a day.

They pull me in all sorts of directions and i have lots of home exercises to do. I also get a back massage and heat therapy when I go in. Poor me.

I'm really hoping to be done in the 2 - 3 weeks they have projected.

Ok results. I have a disk rubbing my spinal chord at my last vertebra "L5 S1" whatever the **** coding that is. I start physical therapy at 9:00 tomorrow morning. Hopefully they can figure out what is going on and can give me exercises I can do at home because I can't afford $20, 3 times a week for too long.



And I'm on Codine right now. 1-2 pills every 4-6 hours. Driving is the worst. I'm going to try Todd's car tomorrow. Somehow the seat in the celica...
