Canon XT's are going out of production and XTi's are going WAAAAYYYY down in the next few months with the introduction of the Xsi. Maybe you will be able to afford both.

After seeing one of our photographers using the new iMac (The one that's all in the monitor) I want it. I really do. I thought it was stupid until I saw it in action. But, of course, they're way expensive. Maybe I can save up for a refurbished one.
![]() A mac mini is a good choice, though. Why don't you try looking on ebay or something first? Someone might be selling off a perfectly good one for half the price, and you might also be able to get your camera. |

well, i already purchased it. I don't want to half *** it when it comes to my lively hood, plus its a tax writeoff in the end. I did get the best deal out there I could find. Ordered it from macmall so I didn't have to pay sales tax, and I got $45 in rebates, so all in all I save about $90 over buying it at the mac store. I just have to be patient while it comes UPS ground.
The good news is after my freelance check pays for the heat pump, i have exactly what the computer cost me, plus an extra $50 bucks to spare. The $50 can go towards more RAM. |
