find of the century
If anyone knows me, they know I'm the most stingy spender when it comes to clothes. I hate spending money on them.
Well, this past Saturday, Todd had to go to the auto parts store, which happens to be right next to Goodwill. I always search goodwill for things I could turn into vivariums, sometimes you find fish tanks, or any other little pot of gold. Todd was taking longer than normal, so I made my way from the "Stuff" section, where I found nothing, to the clothes.
JACKPOT
I'm looking through the jeans, and suddenly notice almost everything on the rack is new, and in my size. I grab up about 10 pairs and head to the changing room.
I end up walking away with 3 pairs of jeans, from the Gap and Old Navy, for $6.50 each.
THEN. Todd goes looking for himself. Comes away with once again, brand new, Tommy Hilfiger corduroy pants, at $6.50 each. They retail for over $75.
All in all we spend $45 on 5 pairs of pants and 3 shirts, everything new. I'm thinking of going back and grabbing one more pair, just because.
Imagine that.
