  1. Week 5 Pics! Juvenile leopard geckos

I guess I can't call them hatchlings anymore... they are getting so big. This week I had to make the entry holes in their humid hides bigger. I recently signed up for a ceramics class/studio and I am hoping to make their more permanent hides next week. They are getting calmer and more handleable all the time. They are now 5 and a half weeks and 13 and 14 grams each. Still waiting to sex them to name them.

  2. Hatchlings week 4

My babies are a month old now. It is absolutely amazing how fast they are growing; every time I peek in at them I am shocked. They are around 11/12 grams now (my scale only goes to the nearest gram). They are calming down some but still very fast. I held them both some today and Gecko 2 ran up my arm to my shoulders, then evaded my hands until he found that perfect spot on my back that I can't reach, forcing me to gently strip off my shirt to retrieve him off it. They are still eating and pooping ...

  3. Hatchlings week 3

I've decided to start blogging the hatchlings instead of foruming it. The blog tool here is really cool and I think probably underutilized.

Gecko #1 hatched on Aug 15, 2012, and #2 hatched just about 24 hours later. I'm just going to stick with that first date from here on, so on Wednesday they were 3 weeks.

Today I had a vacation day, so I moved the babies up to 16 quart sterlites since they have been trying to scale the walls of their nurseries. And I snapped some pictures along the way. #1 doesn't look all that

  5. Reptile Caresheets

I have made a HUGE step forward today in how the sites code is handled. As most know, I am 100% self taught when it comes to everything web related. lol Today I managed to figure out how I can use all of the default vbulletin functions outside of the forum application. This means that I can begin swapping over the caresheets, articles, diseases, etc. to use all of vbulletins stuff while still using my independant template system. This way, if you are viewing a caresheet, you can still get private ...
