This years Earth Hour, 8pm on March 29, 2008, google temporarily switched there page from a white backround with black text, to a black backround with white text.
There have been quite a few opinions about if this actually saves energy, and the eventual outcome seems to be that in most cases, there is indeed a slight decrease in energy used to display the color black...

Problems without end. Well, my female molted to adult yesterday but something went wrong and she can't fold her wings right it shouldn't affect her feeding for pairing so at least that's good. Now I'm just waiting for the males to molt.

An update on my brother: he's doing much better. The doctors were mystified for awhile; he was in so much constant pain (which they said he shouldn't be in with renal failure), and then suddenly his levels started normalizing all on their own.

And then they told us that he also has dry Pleurisy, which is apparently when the lining of the lungs becomes dried out. Knowing that, his symptoms suddenly make a lot of sense. The thing is that Pleurisy can cause Renal Failure - but Renal...

I didn't get around posting this when it happened but our female Budwing Mantid molted to subadult on the 7th of May. Just about 6 weeks and they should be ready to be paired.
