  1. Yoshi's Journal

    by , 05-09-2013 at 06:09 PM
I am starting this blog as a tool for me to track Yoshi's progress. His birthday is January 1, 2013. We purchased him from Petco on February 3rd. That is when I started my research and found this awesome forum. Needless to say, after spending 12 straight hours reading here and asking questions, I went out the next ...

  2. Boston Marathon Attacks

    by , 04-16-2013 at 10:38 PM
Many know that I am originally from Boston and just live a short hour away from Boston now. The attacks obviously hit home for me since many years we have watched the marathon and I lived there. The anger I feel toward the perps is pretty intense as they took the life of a child. I really hope someone stakes claim to the carnage so that there is at least someone to apprehend ...

About 5 years ago I quit smoking. It took me over 50 attempts before I finally succeeded and it was one of the most difficult things I ever did. Like most people I put on 10 lbs after I quit. That wasn't bad though as I was working in construction. Layoffs came and the economy held me back for nearly 6 months before I went back to work. I added another 10 lbs with the downtime. I got in a couple months of work before layoffs came again. This time I was off for a year and had added another 15 lbs! ...

  4. 6 months - My hatchlings leopard geckos are nearly adults

    by , 02-15-2013 at 10:29 PM

I enjoyed watching these guys grow up. Watching eggs hatch is absolutely amazing. But I have other hobbies I enjoy too and have realized that I was not getting enough quality time with each of my geckos. And that there was ...
