It has been an insane week here, I think I am losing my mind. I have taken in a few extras in the last week and have made four trips to Seattle in the last 6 days. Back and forth to the VCA, and one trip to ACCES, the other emergency vet clinic in Seattle, about 15 minutes closer than the other one. I am out almost 5 grand in vet bills for other peoples STUPIDITY, LAZYNESS and just plain old SELFISHNESS. I think I am too the point where I have had enough! Today is really, really long, it seems like it will never end. I feel comatose. It seems like no matter what I do in this house, one of the kids comes by like a tornado, then the other comes by like a hurricane. I am short, cranky, and just plain moody! I feel like I have not slept in years! Of course the insomnia doesn't help much. I have medication I can take for it, but that leaves me drooling on myself for about two days. Oh well, at least all the critters are cleaned and fed! Maybe I will...

I am so tired and frustrated so I am going to rant here. My youngest son is developmentally delayed and has some other issues, he is on an IEP (independant education plan). He recieves special ed services, is pulled out of his class for more than 4 hours of the school day to receive these services, then returned back to the class so he has normal interaction with kids his own age.
So about 6 weeks ago I got a letter from the school stating that he did not qualify for these services because...

my poor son has a 40 page report that he has to do on the Vietnam war for his honors english class. The subject is the average life expectancy of a soldier in that war. In doing a lot of the research with him, I can tell you there is hardly a dry eye for me! Seventeen year old boys fighting in that war, dropped off and killed within a week or two,, sometimes the same day. My heart just breaks for their families, myself being a mom,, it just kills me,, I could not imagine my son in two years dying,let...

AAAAccckkkk!!! For the last few years I have suffered from insomnia,, last night I was lucky enough to get about 2 hours of sleep,, I am so tired but I just cant fall asleep,, I have some prescription sleep meds but they are horrible and make me slobber on myself for two days after I take them.
