It has recently come to light that my ex-coworker is very disgruntled. Not toward the employer, but towards me, the one who has her old job.
Let it be known that she QUIT. She was not laid off, cut back, or otherwise forced into it.

Granted she was not doing her job, I was and she was getting paid for it. That is why when she put in her two weeks no one tried to stop her.

Me: Dang that sucks that we drove an hour and a half only to be stopped in the last mile by a giant snow drift.

Kyle: Are you kidding? We can totally make that.

Me: The snow is over 4 feet deep. there is no way and I don't have my shovel.


Kyle: Let me try.

Me: You realize it's 14 miles to the nearest town right?

Kyle: I know I can do it.

Me: No, seriously, the snow is as deep as my car is tall.
