Life has been hectic lately and I haven't been eating healthy, nor have I been eating enough and so I feel like crud. I started keeping track of what i'm eating on random bits of paper, but I think i'd rather put it all here where I can find it...that way I can se the horrible things i'm eating and hopefully motivate myself to eat a big salad.

Yesterday:

2 slices of banana bread

1/2 of a left over omelette (sp) from ihop with cheddar, sausage, bacon, and shredded beef.

8oz lemonade

handful of dried pineapple

12oz hot chocolate

1 butter cookie

1 chocolate covered almond caramel cluster.

I'm off to just as bad a start today:

2 slices banana bread

1 microwave ready to eat chicken and dumplings meal

a stick of beef jerky.

NOTE TO SELF: BUY SOME VEGGIES!

Heh. I started making lists like that - but then I started depressing myself, so I stopped.

Somedays I eat really, really well, but, like you, other days I eat almost nothing. Yesterday I ate three pretzel sticks and some chicken all day. I tried to eat some mint-chocolate pudding with whipped cream, but my whipped cream had gone bad. Yech.

Off to a good start with a bagel and an apple this morning, though.

I like going to 7-ll now, actually. They usually have those little veggie trays and bags of nuts. That and some water makes a really good lunch.

I had a burger and 2 pickles too yesterday....a pickle is a veggie right? How about mustard and ketchup? They are plant derived.....I'm really stretching it, aren't I?

Not anymore than the state. Wasn't it a few years back that they tried to classify ketchup as a vegetable so that they didn't have to serve kids real veggies in school lunches?

Another good thing - fast food places now offer salads as side. Yay! So you get your deep fried burger or chicken, but you get some greens too. Score. Best of both worlds.

I think i'd call salsa a veggie since it isn't cooked or mutilated like ketchup is....at least our salsa isn't because it's homemade, I couldn't tell you whats in store bought salsa...
