Friday the 13th

I usually don't put much stock in superstition. My day was a little strange yesterday. Nothing too bad, at least not for me, but most assuredly NOT a normal day.
I woke up, got ready for work, and was about to leave, when I noticed my toilet was leaking (from tank to bowl, at a pretty substantial rate) so I decided I would just shut it off at the valve behind the toilet, and worry about it after work. The valve apparently does not work, and only caused it to leak into the floor instead of the bowl. Joy. My house water main shutoff is under the house, in a nasty crawlspace, full of mold, fiberglass, dirt, cobwebs, etc.
I get to work, and am assigned to a student who is an insulin dependent diabetic. I have to watch her inject herself with insulin. *barf* I'm not good with hypodermic needles, AT ALL.
When I get home from work, my phone has a message from my mom saying that I may get a call from one or both of my brothers asking me to post bail on them, and that she is done dealing with them, and she will not take calls from either of them until they are BOTH either calm, dead, or incarcerated. My younger brother is in my driveway, hyperventilating so badly he can barely walk, he's black, blue, bloody, in tears, and has several broken bones in his hands, as well as an arm. When I get him into my house he collapses. Turns out he got into a fight with my older brother, who shares a house with him. Their house is toast, and needs doors, floors, pipes, cupboards, dishes, and other parts replaced now, as they literally tore the house apart in the process of trying to tear each other apart. All this was done in the presence of a toddler, too. My older brother took off, and drove north. Nobody is of any inclination to pursue him just yet.
Happy Friday the 13th.
