    Help me! Is my Bearded Dragon sick?

    My dragon has developed a lump under his jaw in the last 12 hours. Can anyone tell me whats wrong with him. Im really upset, please advise asap....

    The lump is soft, its as if when he pushes out his neck that its got stuck and has not gone back down....

    Is this a recent aquisition? Small or adult? Have you ever seen a Bearded Dragon puff out its beard in display? This is quite dramatic and if you're not expecting it can startle you.
    If not is the lump solid feeling?

    He's just over a year old. Yes I have saw him puff out his beard before, but its as if it wont go away, its very swollen looking, he's also very lathargic.

    If his activities has change and he is lethargic, then I would recommend a vet check. Its hard to say without seeing it. Can you take a picture and post it.

    I now know how to send a picture, I need to find the camera, I will post picture as soon as I can. Many thanks for your help. I will remain on line until I sort it out.

    Sorry to be a pain, I did try to send the picture but an error occurred so im none the wiser, i think i will take him to a vet.

    That sounds like a good plan to me. Its better to be safe then wait until it is to late. :o
