    Should I Rescue Him?

I was on Cragislist and saw this HORRIBLY ABUSED BEARDED DRAGON. FULL GROWN LIVING IN A 10 GALLON! 2 years old. Thinking about saving him. Advice? Is it worth it? Here is the link

Makes me vomit. Is it worth it? Or he will just die anyway? I CANNOT BELIEVE THESE PEOPLE!

Do you have a tank to put him in? Would you be able to afford the vet bills? I would if i could. But just a few things to consider.

I have a tank currently, and I can get the Vet coverage.

The thing is, I can only use a 10 gallon for about another week or two, but he has been posted overa few weeks so i think waiting is better than never getting a larger one at ALL.

Perhaps he goes out a lot and only basks and sleeps and eats in the tank?

I have texted her and it sounds like he is consistently confined there. Debating whether to get him or not..........

If you have the room, can give him the room and care he needs, and cover pet bills, than why not?

    Re: Should I Rescue Him?

It appears to be in pretty good health but appearances can be deceptive. Good health isn't all about the look of an animal's physical condition, but also what's going on on the inside. I've seen plenty of animals that are fed high fat diets that appear to be healthy but actually have a lot of health issues, like MBD and other internal issues.

In any case if you feel you have the time, space and funds in order to support the animal by all means take it into your possession.
