Is the fixture still in the upright position? If it is and you're using it as a basking light, its not going to do a good job at all. A basking light must be placed above the animal, not facing upwards next to it. Also, is "5W" a typo, or is it an actual 5W bulb? Better yet, what are the temps in the enclosure, specifically the basking and cool end temps? How are you measuring them?
As for the ZooMed UVB bulb, do you know which one you're going to get?

No.
Yes. I mend 25watt.
Not sure about basking spot(I'll get back to you with it in a few) cool end 25C. Measuring with a aquarium thermostat.(getting one with a probe tomorrow)
Not sure, maybe a 10 or 15watt.
A short stint of around an 1 hour or so 2 or 3 times per week, is as much as they would need to maintain D3 levels during the warmer months, at least.
And they actually don`t spend very many hours (in total) during the day sitting basking in the sun, they do it when thermoregulating for a few minutes at a time, then it`s in and out, apart from anything else, they wouldn`t last too long if it were otherwise, LOTS of predators, and extremely hot at certain times of the day!![]()
Basking temp 30C.The light has been one for 20 minutes.
The tank is on our porch.
Here you can see the new light.
They spend far more than 2-3 hours a week basking in the wild. Besides, it's not about providing just enough or bare minimum, it's about replicating their natural habitat as best and as safe as possible...I don't see why anyone would disagree with that. In a perfect, predator free environment (i.e. captivity) you could bet they would be a lot more active in the open than they are in the wild.

Would you guys pay 50$ for a UVB 10.10(I think, cant remember the numbers, but it is the bigger one)26wats?
I got vitamine D3, that I put in the water.
I have veg and cricket duster that I mix and sprinkle on the crickets every 2ed day.
I put water in the tank and they LOVE it!
I got a reptile mat.(no more gravel)
Also got small crickets, they also love them.
Nice to see you making improvementsYou need to be a little more specific in regards to the UVB bulb information. Who makes it and what type of bulb is it--Standard Fluorescent or compact fluorescent? Also, be careful using supplements, if used improperly they can do more harm than good.

They are still pretty small to tell to much about the morph... Unless you have some info on the parents! In like 6 months we can have a better idea though! They will get more colorful with every shed!
