    Beardie Night Light Burnt Out

My night time bulb just blew out ( I just bought it maybe 2 weeks ago), should I leave day light on or turn all lamps off? It is 72 degrees without any lights. Too cold?

Care sheet states no lower than 70 for night temp, so, probably ok.

I would invest in a ceramic heat emitter for night time heat! I usually try not to let it go below 75 degrees at night. With a ceramic heat emitter you can plug it into a thermostat and set it to only come one when needed.
Can you bring to bulb back, 2 weeks isn't long, maybe it's faulty!

That's why I gave up on reptile night lamps so long ago!
Ceramic Heat Emitter's for the win!

Yeah I use ceramic heat emitters for everyone else. The only wattage I have left that are not in use, are 2 of the 150 watt ceramic heaters. I was afraid that would get too hot. I turned the light out last night and he was fine this morning. Temperature didn't seem to go below 72 (I have a digital thermometer). I'm going to return the other bulb. Thanks!

72 is not to cold at all. Beardeds are desert creatures, meaning able to stand high and low temps

Thanks. At least I don't feel like I froze him last night. He would not sleep while the day light was on. I bought a different bulb so he will be warm tonight.

if its a zoomed light and you have a problem returning it call the company, they require a picture of the bulb and reciept and they will ship you a new light if it is less than 90 days old, i know scales n tails wouldnt let me return it.
