I'm planning ahead. I would like to know what size is the "disc" of an adult ball python, say 4 feet long, when coiled up? I don't mean into a ball when threatened,but when resting in a hide, coiled up against the walls of the hide. How big could the circle be?

Also, say, at 4 feet long, what is the thickness of the snake? About that of a coke can?

No one can tell me??

Anthony, one of my males measures 8-9 inches when coiled...he is about 3 yrs old and 3 1/2ish feet. Females are usually bigger in thickness than males. But again all can be different, my female is almost that big, not as quite as big as a coke can though, lol..only when gravid.
