When the heck is it gonna shed??? GRRRR

Alright man when it gonna shed? My baby ball was fed 9 days ago and I'm sure its hungry by now. I left it alone for 2 days and when I took it out to handle on the third day it was all faded color already. So it must have started the shed process 8 - 9 days ago. All it does is hide and today I couldn't resist I took it out to check it and yes the stomach is all pink and the eyes are silvery. But it hasn't started to shed anything yet I mean man when's this gonna be over??! I wanna feed the thing! GRRRRR!!!!!! My schedule permits me to go to the mice shop every tues and thurs only today is thurs here in Hong Kong so even if it sheds tonight I can't feed it till tues. No Frozen/Thawed for me until I convince my girlfriend its perfectly normal for normal everyday people to keep dead rats in their fridge that normal people do everyday.

It's humidity is in the 70s and temps are all right and there is a tree branch and other rough stuff I put in there for it to rub. Come on! Just shed! Shed already!

CALM DOWN! A shed process can take as long as two weeks. Your snake will not starve if it has to wait till even next Thursday or later!!! DON'T FEED and
STOP handling the snake! Just make sure you mist him lightly every day with some lukewarm water from a spray bottle. Otherwise leave him alone!

If his eyes are silvery it will probably take at least another 4-6 days before it sheds, so you'll have to hold out a while longer. Snakes will shed on their own schedule, so that's a very rough estimate.

The snake will first look nice and clear and shiny... don't be fooled: if you don't see a shed skin, he hasn't done it yet, but will soon. DON'T handle or feed until you see the old skin lying in the tank.
Until then, it's wait, wait, wait.......!!

Uh Anthony...remember PATIENCE?
The snake will do everything in its own time and there is nothing you can do to change that. The eyes being silver mean it is in the final stages of shed it should happen in the next few days. And don't worry. A couple of missed meals is not gong to hurt it.

some snakes will eat during a shed and ask your girl why it's ok to keep chicken, fish, and other mammals in the freezer and that some people eat mice in different countries hehehe...that's what I tell people...and then I throw my fake snake on them and they scream...and all is well

IT SHED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOOOO HOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ONE PIECE PERFECT EYES AND ALL NO RETAINED SHED!!!!

Should I leave it alone for a couple more days? Or should I be feeding/handling it right away?

And oh about that mouse in fridge thing, you don't reason with your girlfriend it's like waving your hand in front of a snake. Just kidding.... Actually, it just so happens that she has a phobia of mice and rats. She is a great gal in that she's not afraid of any of those things that a lot of local guys and girls are afraid of, like snakes, frogs, lizards etc. But even when she sees FAKE Halloween decoration rats, she literally breaks out into a red rash all over her body. So I can respect that she doesn't want mice in the fridge. Just like I have a phobia of the sound styrofoam makes when rubbed together. I bench press 400 pound but my legs turn to jelly when I hear that styrofoam, and I am sure I would appreciate it if she didn't rub that stuff together when I'm present. She actually lets me, albeit reluctantly, but I don't want to put her through that as I can buy the mice on my tiwce weekly jog. I figured that I can go on tues or thurs, on my jogging days, jog to the shop, buy the mice, jog back, so "once a week" was perfect. I didn't remember that shedding would put a monkey wrench into that schedule.

I wouldnt handle him right away,,,there skin is still a little sensitive after a shed, but you can go ahead and feed if you like.

I'm glad he finally shed for you,,,I could tell it was stressing you
