New Pics of Tybalt
Here's a couple new pictures of Tybalt. He's been doing fine, he just went through a shed about a week ago without any problems. and been eating fine. He's still a little edgy on us holding him, but today he seemed like he was more than willing to come out of his home.

He looks frantastic!!!...
The tank looks much better since you change his substrate...If you hold him daily and very slowly rub his head, the edginess will eventually go away.

I agree he looks very good. Give him a bit of time and he will be a regular lap snake!
If I open the top or even get near the cage my pair are up there wanting to come out.

Ball pythons are notoriously head shy. Instead of trying to rub his head just let him glide through your hands. As he is going through your hands lightly cup the hand his head is about to go through. Move slowly and don't put any pressure on him yet. Just get him used to going through your cupped hand and you can gradually close up the hand till you are actually able to stop his forward movement without him freaking out. Just take your time and move slowly. I have trained all my snakes, BPs included with this technique. It will end up with you being able to take your finger and thumb and take hold of the snake's head and hold it without him freaking out.
This is a very good thing to be able to do in the event you have to give medication. It will be much easier if the snake isn't thrashing around trying to escape. If there is something about my description that you didn't understand feel free to let me know.
