My newest BP soaks all the time now and it's freezing cold as it's off the heating matt. The temps and humidity are perfect. But it is wheezing now. how can I stop iot from soaking in cold water all the time without taking out the water??

If he's wheezing I would suggest a trip to the vet. How long has he been staying in the waterbowl ? Is he close to shed ? and what are your temps and humidity ? Did you check him for possible mite infestation?

That might help in narrowing down what to do.

mite are none temp and hum are good, not going into shed, but wondering if it feels good with all those burns? on it. It soaks for over 8 hours a day, travels at night and then back in water. Trip to vet will be but have to prevent it.

Once you get him checked by the vet,,is there anyway for you to keep the water warm...do you have a basking light? As you said, It might feel good to him.

Yes I do good idea,and he slept in his cave last night. Time for cage cleaning anyway, so ill rearrange it all for it.

His hides could be too big as well, therefore making him "hide" in his water.
