Actually hamsters are from Asia as are gerbils. The jerboa is very similar to a gerbil and that is why owners of stubborn balls try to feed gerbils too them. They are very similar to what the wild caught snakes feed on in the wild.
Of course if they fixate on the gerbils it is going to be a very expensive snake to feed!

Hmmmmm is hamster sniffing anything like toad licking!

appology accepted, other members PM me before so I know it's working. When something like that happens I just up and erase posts and head out of forum town. Alot of misunderstanding are possible with typed words. The hamster was freshly thumped and I don't feed live unless thats the only thing they take. Which is not the case here. Alot of FT still have eyes opened. Another confusion and assumption. Anyway we are friends as before.

If someone would just invent a tone-of-voice font and a sarcasm font, a lot of online misunderstandings would be avoided

So glad to hear you are OK with everything Diggy.

Just to note, I'm an Admin and could not PM you because your have your "Receive PM" set to NO. So, when anyone tries to Private Message you, it's not an option available. It's the reason I sent you an e-mail instead of PM in the first place.

If you like, I can change your setting for you or you could go to your UserCP and change it yourself. Let me know.

Also, if you agree we can undelete your posts for you, please let us know.

And good luck with your BP.

Sorry, guys, gotta say this.... you know you're in an online forum when the thread progresses from a feisty discussion on ball python feeding to the glories of hamster-sniffing! (Personally, I find hamsters smell like rancid pee, gerbils are a little less stinky...)

BTW, I'm with Matt... a tone-of-voice font would be a real problem-solver!

Dang it anyway, I said I'm NOT a hamster sniffer, next thing you know I've got a reputation...and I'm the new guy! This one's going to be tough to live down.
