I've been to the breeder today and chose two cute babies.They are only about one and two month old and sooo cute!!!
I chose a nice gold one and the other is quite a dark one with lots of black.The breeder said some sell them for much more,but he doesn't do that.It's just a variation in colour,but they look very nice! The dark ones all look like their dad.
I spend about one and a half hours there,and needed about an hour to chose ;boy,I didn't know how difficult it is to chose a ball python,lol!
But I got two nice ones(well,they are all nice,but you can't take them all,can you !).
Not all have eaten yet and the dark ones were in shed but still nice!
He also had the most beautiful,tiny dumerillis baby and it was quite tempting,but a bit too big a snake for me at the moment!
My breeder said that lots of people sell the babies way too early and then the buyer will be frustrated,because they won't eat.I still have to wait until my babies ate 10-12 times without problems,but then I will have a good start with them.
In October,if they eat well,I can pick them up!! Ooh I'm so happy about it and I have to be very patient 'til then!!
I also held a boa constrictor today and I only can say WOW(!) to that experience!
By the way,a little tip:have a look at your ball python's sides and you might see some patterns that look like animals.The breeder ,his wife and I had lots of fun seeing animals on the babies,like a baby moose(but looked more like a cartoon moose from looney tunes,lol ) and beside it was a rabbit.On another snake I saw ET! No joking,it's true;use your imagination and you'll find lots of figures on your BP!
It's fun! Call me crazy but it's true!!
Anyway,I had a great time and can't wait for the babies to come home with me!!

That's great news Jacky. Waiting that long will drive you nuts, I had to wait a month and could hardly stand it. The patterns are pretty cool, funny you mentioned ET, my Ball is named ET because of the alien faces on him. Try not to pull your hair out waiting, we're here for you

LOL guys!! esbat,in the end I will have been waiting about 8 month for the babies until they are home! When I called the breeder for the first time,they were not even born and still inside their mommy.
Please be patient with the pics,you can do it guys,lol! I have to install something to be able to put pics on here(**** computer of mine!!)
