Moving her and need advice

I'm moving my BP into a larger tank because she's over 2 feet now and can't totally stretch out anymore. I want to set it up a large tank and let her grow into it and give her something nice to climb on. I also want to make some kind of terrain I can place in the bottom of the tank that has a big place for water and then I can lay substrate over the rest and add some fake plants and a light so she can feel more at home.

What is safe to use for Ball Pythons when making terrain that isn't organic? Something I can mold that will dry and harden would be good.

Anyone know a good place online to order branches? The places I buy from usually have cork bark or branches that are thin and flimsy. Any place to get some thick sturday branches, or pieces of trees with a few branches that are treated?

Any advice and suggestions for these and other tank accessories are welcome. Thanks

I can't really direct you to websites for buying stuff, as I'm in England, but one thing I would recommend is not to move your BP into too-large a tank. Royals can be easily stressed, and in our experience, do better in smaller enclosures. What size tank are you keeping her in and what tank are you proposing to move her to?

As for substrate, bark chips (NOT cedar or pine), moss and newspaper are all good mediums. Aspen bedding is not so good for Royals, as they need moderate humidity and this substrate doesn't do well for humid conditions. We use newspaper with most of our snakes, as it is cheap and easily cleaned but isn't as aesthetically pleasing as other mediums. We provide moist hides with moss in, which can also double up as lay boxes for gravid females, and mist the tanks lightly with water when needed to keep the humidity around 40-60%.
