Have you checked the snake for mites? Maybe the snake is trying to itch?

well she is half way done shedding now and i just replaced bedding after the first shed. Didnt look like there was any mites on her. I noticed he was getting dull. I just thought it might be getting darker since she just shed

They get darker when going in to shed and brighter when they have shed.

They should shed in one long continuous piece. If not, there are problems.

hmm.. well i noticed after the first shed she was slow and inactive in general. i was worried but now she is roaming nonstop except when i play call of duty, still sits on my lap for hours then

it was is a continuous shed it was just 2 sheds in a week 1/2 time span

i also have another question.. because it is summer the air is on and i cannot keep the tempeture so i have been using a space heater on screen and alot of misting(+ uv day and night bulbs)
the heater is set to 87* since i figure heat rises i would need it as warm as possible

the heater has auto shut off and goes off about every 15 mins and stays of for at least 45

Hi, sorry, I don`t understand why you can`t keep the temps at the required levels, what type of enclosure is the snake in?
