The simplest thing would be to set it up and run it for the duration and see.

    Re: Fogger for BP?

I wont be leaving for a while yet. I think ill buy it and set it up with a trial run to test it out and see how well it works. Id have to couple it with a timer and set that up to the right specs as well. The videos/pics Ive seen that have had the fogger with their Ball Python cage looks awesome and very efficient. I must say, Im quite excited to try it out

    Re: Fogger for BP?

One of the main issues with misters is if they mist(like fog) or do they basically produce rain. Its very easy to overdo it and end up with the bottom of the tank a swamp. And that leads to problems like scale rot from too much dampness.

    Re: Fogger for BP?

yeah I can def see that. This one I saw produces a light fog. i would only have it run every 12hr for 4 sec. So It should be ok. (fingers crossed)

    Re: Fogger for BP?

If its just a light mist, 4 seconds once a day isn't really going to accomplish much unless the cage is very enclosed.
A basic aquarium with a screen top is going to evaporate that out fairly fast.

the cage is very enclosed. no screen top. just vent on each side and one in back and hole for the lamp on top.

Then you might be ok. The only way to tell for sure is to set it up and run it.
