So I have been temporarily babysitting my old roommate's Snake while she is out of town and just received a wonderful phone call. She is in the Coast Guard and has decided that she is gone too often to care for the snake...and asked if I would like to keep her....so naturally, with my boyfriend only encouraging my bad habits, I said yes! :PShe is a sweet snake (currently in the process of being renamed), used to being handled, and has a fun personality. Very chill. The vet (according to previous owner) said she is about a year old but my friend got her from the pet store in December and I think she is younger than that (about 1.6-2 feet long) and she is definitely a girl (she was sexed at the vets also).
Anyways, I will post some pics later. In the meanwhile, I would like to get the details.I know a bit about snakes, but now that she is mine I need to know enough to spoil her. Temps, humidity, UV, etc. She has a day and night heat light right now that is on a timed power strip and is in a tank (20 long I think). She has a half-built cage that is bigger though that I'll have to finish up this summer. Anything you guys can tell me is appreciated! Thanks!
