Shed cycles?

I just had a question. My BP is approximately a year old, and I've had him since mid-November and he's never shed. So it's been like 2 months without a shed. What's the normal time between sheds for a BP of that age? His belly turned pink one time, but no shed, and the belly returned to white in a day or two. Just wanna make sure nothing is wrong...

My BP, Monty, was 5 months old when I got him. He shed for me the first time on the 17th of November. His next shed wasn't until last Sunday, the 9th of January. (Almost two months.)
I've heard that snakes shed less often as they get older, so your one year old will probably shed in the next month or so.
TIP: I put a small plastic box with a lid and cut a hole in the side and filled it halfway with moist sphagnum moss, which I misted lightly every day or every other day. The box was placed on the warm side of the terrarium under the Ceramic Heat Emitter. Monty never went in there before, but one day he crawled in and I didn't see him come out (although he might have at night) for over a week! I continued to mist inside the box when I noticed he was turning blue.
One day I opened it up and there was only a rolled up donut of perfectly shed skin and a big poop and urates! Monty had moved out and under his normal warm hide.
I thought he would have to come out to shed, but he did it all in there!
Here are two pics of the box with a pen to show it's actual size. I got it at the grocery store in the food storage container dept. The only hole is the one in the front which I put up high on the side so that I could fill the bottom with moss. Monty went in and blocked the openning with a ball of moss!

Snakes don't shed on any sort of timetable. How often they shed depends on how fast they are growing.

Update:

I was away for the weekend, and when I came home tonight and took Olie out to visit, I noticed immediately that his eyes were blue and he was very dull. It's shed time! YAY!

I'm a little nervous, and excited at the same time... trying to kick up my humidity to make things go easily. He's got a vet appt. on Tues, maybe she'll have some advice.
