I was feeding my snake today and I put him in his feeding box and then was getting ready to lower the rat in....well he got a little over-anxious I guess and went in for the attack....well he bit himself instead of the rat...I checked him out and didn't see any blood or anything...my question is: Has anyone else ever had this issue and if so should I be super concerned and/or is there anything I should keep an eye on to make sure nothing further happens from it or am I just worrying too much??

As long as there was no injury I would not be concerned. Mine have done the same thing from time to time.

Yes, try not to worry.
Their scales are fairly resistant and if there was any damage, it will heal over the next couple of sheds. -- Bites from rats or mice are much worse, so I hope you are feeding pre-killed or F/T.

Well thanks for the reassurance...and I am not feeding live rats...I've seen the damage they can do....
