I don't know if this is normal or not, but my bp's eyes are changing colors! My neighbor and the guy at the pet shop both have told me that it's not normal, but it's not bad, either. Does anyone have experience with anything like this? Her eyes are changing from the black that they have been since I've had her to match the rest if her head. There is a light brown stripe on the top 1/3 and the bottom 2/3 is changing to a darker brown. If anyone knows what this is or what is going on, please answer, as I really don't know what is going on and when I don't understand something it stresses me out!

When they are near shed there eyes turn blue.... its the skin covering.

Also when there is a lot of light on them there eyes turn more light its like our eyes, if you shine bright light on our eyes you will see more color not the dark black pupil in the middle. But when its darker the eye's pupil will be larger and seem more dark.

I'm not saying I'm 100% right so maybe some one else can help out also.

She finished a shed about a week ago(complete). Her eyes are actually changing from black to duotone brown. It's really cool looking and the vet says its just an oddity (he also said that maybe she has some morph in her).
I just don't know.

Could be, I've heard some of the Het.'s for recessive ball python morphs have markers or something similar where you can tell they are say like Het. for albino by just looking at them. I don't know much about it but I've read about it on the kingsnake forums. You would have to ask an experienced ball python breeder about it.
