Does anyone use fir bark as a substrate? What are your likes/dislikes?

I have never used it myself but fir bark is what Repti bark is made of.

I used it for a little while...I wasn't such a fan as it did not help retain humidity like I needed it to.

I use it for my albino ball it makes the color stand out, other than that its good but more expensive than aspen which I use for my darker snakes.
