Hi folks,
just wanted to let you know how things were going, my now solo BP is doing great, when I got home he was still a little nervous, i guess he expected the other one to show up again. but as time went by a simply enormous transformation took over, he has never been this active, exploring every nook and cranny of his enclosure. a very confident and secure snake. for the last two hours he has been inspecting my "pot farm" and pretending to be a tree python. i expect i'll have to get him some branches soon cause he loves climbing so much (probably just looking for an escape route, but 'll let him have his fun).

BTW my "pot farm" is what I call the plastic and silk vines that I have attached to the back and one side of my enclosure, they were marked as "south american jungle vines" at the pet store, but one look at the leaves and it was pretty obvious what they really were. since my enclosure faces a window, i expect a knock at the door one of these days, and i'll have to explain why I have purple lights on all night and funny looking plants in my house lol

lol I think I know exactly what kind of plastic plants your talking about too. hopefully you won't be getting knocks at the door

good luck with your remaining python. it sounds like he's doing much better.

yes pics are a must. I think everyone can agree when I say that there is no such thing as too many pics when it comes to our pets. Glad to hear your remaning BP is doing so well. I think I have also seen the pot farm at our local petstore as well.. silly ball pythons and their pot farming, they just can't get enough of it... lol please keep us posted on how your BP is doing..
